Condition Severity: Weak
Something has negatively affected your luck.
Effects
- You cannot spend any action points, except to get rid of the Jinxed condition.
- You cannot use any ability, either granted or your own, to re-roll any die roll.
- Any time you roll a critical hit, it is resolved as a regular hit instead.
Ended By
If the ability, trap, or effect description includes specific directions for how the condition is ended, then that is the primary means of ending this condition. In many cases, it is the only way to end the condition. If nothing is specifically listed for ending the condition, then the following methods can be used to end it, instead:
- You may spend a move action to turn in place three times, immediately ending the Jinxed condition. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
- You can make an Escape Artist roll against the Maneuver Defense of the creature who inflicted this status. If you make this roll, you shake off the condition as a Swift action. If there is no creature involved, the DC is the Maneuver Defense of a generic creature of the CR of the effect.
- You may spend your action point to immediately end the Jinxed condition.
- If not cleared, Jinxed automatically ends at the end of the encounter.
