Condition Severity: Moderate

You have seen your death reflected in the eyes of this enemy. He is best avoided.

Effects

  • If you attack the creature which Slandered you before the end of your next turn, or include that creature in the effects of an attack, whether your attack hits or misses, all attacks that creature makes against you for the remainder of the encounter automatically hit you. The Slandering creature may still roll its attack rolls to see if it critically hits you, but every attack it makes against you hits you, regardless of the die result.
  • This is a fear effect.

Ended By

If the ability, trap, or effect description includes specific directions for how the condition is ended, then that is the primary means of ending this condition. In many cases, it is the only way to end the condition. If nothing is specifically listed for ending the condition, then the following methods can be used to end it, instead:

  • The Slandered condition automatically ends at the end of your next turn, whether you attack the creature which Slandered you or not.
  • If the same creature which Slandered you also inflicts any of the Vexed, Antagonized, or Compelled status conditions on you, the Slandered condition is immediately replaced by the new condition.
