Benefit: When the alchemist creates a bomb, they can choose to have it create a cloud of thick smoke when it detonates. The cloud functions in all ways as a Incendiary Cloud (Sorcerer/Wizard Spell), even replacing the bomb's normal area of effect with the area of effect of Incendiary Cloud. This effect replaces the damaging effects the bomb would normally deal (i.e. it is not in addition to the bomb's normal damage).
If the alchemist has any discoveries or grand discoveries that increase the area of effect of their bombs, then the affected diameter of the Incendiary Cloud is increased by 10 feet for each such discovery or grand discovery. This is an automatic bonus that does not require those discoveries to actually be applied to this bomb.
Note: This is a 'bomb modifier' discovery, and may not be combined with any other 'bomb modifier' discoveries, until the alchemist learns the Eureka Bombs class feature at level 17.
