The magic staves listed below are simply a sampling of the possibilities.  Any three rods, and any one wand can be combined to make a magic staff.  As a result, there are millions of possible combinations — far too many to attempt to list them all.

pretty much ALL of the pathfinder staffs are just collections of spells, because, why would anyone ever want to do anything but cast spells?!  they would be easy to import, since the spells pass is ready for primetime.  now, there are already a lot of magic items proposed that can be used to grant spellcasting and can actually be used by a gish-style melee character because they don't tie up both hands.


so...ditch staves completely? convert some rod concepts into staves? keep staves as pools of spells and integrate them into a gish-strategy for anyone who wants it? keep staves as pools of spells that also grant buffs for a real spellcaster?
