Winded damage occurs when a creature is deprived of something it needs at all times to live. The most common example is a living creature deprived of air, but winded can also apply to magical creatures in a low-mana place, or an Earth creature trapped in a place of only wind and clouds, or an undead creature deprived of life-force. In all cases, Winded damage is terrible, driving affected creatures in a frantic search for whatever it is they need.
