Keen (Melee Weapon Magic Property)
Enchant Cost: +1
A keen weapon has been magically enchanted to subtly guide the hand of its wielder to seek out the most vulnerable spots of its target. This property adds +1 to the critical threat range of a weapon. For example, a Longsword has a normal critical threat range if 19-20. With the 'keen' property, it becomes 18-20. The keen property does not modify the weapon's critical multiplier.
This benefit stacks with feats and class abilities that expand the threat range of a weapon (such as the Improved Critical feat). Spells and other effects do not stack.
- Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 17), a languid remnant (tier 1), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
