Shredding Spell
Prerequisites: Spellcraft 25 ranks.
Benefit: A shredding spell affects a target's equipment or unattended objects rather than creatures. A spell must normally inflict damage for Shredding Spell to be applied to it. With Shredding Spell, it inflicts no damage to creatures.
A Shredding Spell with an Area of Effect inflicts one Sunder upn every unattended item in the area of effect. Against larger objects such as the ground or walls, inflicts one Sunder success per five foot square. All unattended objects in the area of effect suffer one Sunder. Single target spells such as rays or missiles inflict one Sunder per unmodified spell level per ray or missile.
Shredding Spell inflicts Sunders only to unattended inanimate objects. Items in the possession of or being wielded by creatures are not affected by this spell.
A shredding spell uses up a spell slot four levels higher than the spell's actual level.
