Cypher Magic (Feat)

Your intimacy with runes and the mysteries of ancient arcana has taught you secret ways to draw greater power from magical writings.

Prerequisites: Int 15, Creator (Feat)

Benefit: You cast spells from scrolls at +1 caster level higher for every 3 levels by which you exceed the scroll's caster level (minimum +1, maximum +5). For example, if you are level 10, and purchase a caster level 1 scroll of cure light wounds, the effective caster level of the scroll when you cast from it would actually be 4th (1 for the scroll itself and 3 for exceeding the scroll's level by 9 levels). This benefit extends to scrolls that you have created.

In addition, you gain a +2 bonus on caster level checks or use magic device checks made to activate a scroll with a higher caster level than your own.
