Any time one or more of the Bard's affected allies are targeted by a sonic or language-dependent enemy attack, all of the allies may roll a saving throw against that enemy effect, and all of them use the highest result rolledNote:  The unaffected allies are supporting their brethren, not making active saving throws against the enemy effect. As a result, if they are later directly targeted they can still be affected by enemy abilities.
While under the effects of this song, each time any of the Bard's affected allies are targeted by an enemy attack that grants a saving throw, they gain a [[performance bonus]] to that saving throw equal to +2 plus an additional +1 per two experience tiers of the Bard class that the bard possessesThat is, if the bard has at least 6 bard levels (2 tiers), they grant a +3 bonus. If the bard has at least 16 bard levels (4 tiers), they grant a +4 bonus, and if the bard has at least 26 bard levels (6 tiers), they grant a +5 bonus.

If an affected ally is already under the effect of a non-instantaneous sonic or language-dependent attack, all affected allies of the Bard may roll a saving throw against the effect each round they hear the Countersong, each using the highest result among them.

Performance Name (StanceSu)

A bard with this performance can do something cool. Each round that the bard sustains this performance, they may choose a number of their allies (including themselves) to affect with this performance, based on their current Bard level, as described below:

  • At Bard levels 1 - 10, the bard may affect up to 3 allies.
  • At Bard levels 11 - 20, the bard may affect up to 4 allies.
  • At bard levels above 21, the bard may affect up to 5 allies.

All allies chosen to be affected must be within range of the performance (typically within 30 feet of the bard), and must be able to perceive the performance.

{{{Description}}}

No creature may be under the effects of more than one performance, even if they are being performed by different bards.

Finale: One ally that is affected by this performance at the time the finale is triggered may do something interesting.

Countersong (Stance; Su)

At 1st level, a bard learns to counter harmful effects directed at their party. Each round of the countersong the bard may choose to affect a number of their allies (including themselves) depending on their level, as long as all of those allies are within range of the performance (typically 30 feet), and can perceive it.

  • At Bard levels 1 - 10, the bard may affect up to 3 allies.
  • At Bard levels 11 - 20, the bard may affect up to 4 allies.
  • At bard levels above 21, the bard may affect up to 5 allies.

While under the effects of this song, each time any of the Bard's affected allies are targeted by an enemy attack that grants a saving throw, they gain a performance bonus to that saving throw equal to +2 plus an additional +1 per two experience tiers of the Bard class that the bard possesses. That is, if the bard has at least 6 bard levels (2 tiers), they grant a +3 bonus. If the bard has at least 16 bard levels (4 tiers), they grant a +4 bonus, and if the bard has at least 26 bard levels (6 tiers), they grant a +5 bonus.

Countersong does not work on effects that don't allow saves.

No creature may be under the effects of more than one performance, even if the performances are being done by different bard characters.

Finale: One ally that was affected by this performance prior to the finale may reduce a status condition that they are currently suffering under by one step. That is, a strong condition becomes a moderate condition in the same array. A moderate condition becomes a weak condition in the same array. A weak condition is immediately ended.
