You empower your weapon with the might of your deity, which you discharge as you strike your foes.

Prerequisites: Paladin 16, Channel divinity class feature, Channel Smite (Feat)

Benefit: Up to once per round, you may spend one use of your Channel Divinity class feature as a free action at the start of your turn. Until the end of your current turn, each attack you perform that hits its target inflicts your Channel Divinty damage, either as Positive (energy, uncommon) or Negative (energy, uncommon) damage (your choice).

The additional damage dealt by Greater Channel Smite is considered bonus damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit.

If your attacks are capable of hitting multiple targets, Greater Channel Smite's additional damage is only applied to your primary target, or if there isn't a primary target, a single target you choose from among those that were hit.

You may never use Greater Channel Smite more than once per round, even with the use of action points. Greater Channel Smite's effect replaces (does not stack with) the effect from Channel Smite.
