Bodyguard (Feat)

Your swift strikes ward off enemies attacking nearby allies.

Prerequisites: Level 11, Combat Reflexes (Feat)

Benefit: When an adjacent ally is attacked, you may use an attack of opportunity to attempt the Aid Another action to improve your ally's AC. You must make a to-hit roll against the attacking opponent, and if it succeeds, instead of dealing damage, you aid your ally with a +2 bonus to their AC, using up your attack of opportunity. You may not use the aid another action to improve your ally's attack roll with this attack. Note that the attacking opponent doesn't need to do anything special to trigger this attack of opportunity; you are allowed to make the attack because you have this feat, and it is attacking an adjacent ally of yours.

Normal: Aid another is a standard action.
