Threnodic damage is a horrific melding of sonic and negative energy. It is characterized by sounds, often seeming like a haunting dirge that flays skin, grinds bone, and forces thoughts into the darkest and most destructive of pathways. A threnody is a terrible affront to all that exists, and is only found in truly abominable horrors or the darkest and most refined spells.
