Death from Above (Feat)
You allow gravity to add extra force to your attacks.
Prerequisites: Level 1, Acrobatics 1 rank
Benefit: Whenever you attack an opponent from higher ground, or from above (such as while flying), you gain a +2 circumstance bonus to the attack roll, instead of the usual +1. You may only gain this bonus if attacking from higher ground than your target. This bonus is only applied to the attack (or attacks) that results specifically from your higher position.
Special: You may attempt an Acrobatics check to jump during a Charge maneuver, and, as long as your jump reaches a height of at least five feet, you gain the +2 bonus from Death from Above to your Movement skill for the Charge maneuver (or whatever skill your Charge maneuver utilizes). Attaining 5 feet of height requires either a long jump of at least twenty feet, or a high jump of at least 5 feet, both of which have a base DC of 20, not including any environmental or circumstantial modifiers.
Special: Once per round, when you declare a Full Attack Action, you may use an Attack Action action (typically using up your lowest available BAB attack) to attempt a high jump, using an Acrobatics check. If your jump reaches a height of at least five feet, you gain the bonus from Death from Above on any remaining attacks you perform during your turn this round. (Attaining 5 feet of height requires either a long jump of at least twenty feet, or a high jump of at least 5 feet.)
Special: You may use this feat when you fall, assuming you fall deliberately. Doing so does not mitigate any falling damage you may be subject to.
Normal: Attacking from higher ground grants a +1 to attack rolls, and you may not attempt to jump to gain that bonus.
