Goading Ki (Feat)
Your plant a stinging goad of your Ki in the aura of your foes, forcing them to attend you or suffer.
Prerequisites: Monk 1
Related: Pin Down (Feat), Taunt (Feat)
Benefit: Once per round as a swift action, the monk may spend 1 point of Ki to place a spiritual goad upon one foe they can see. This foe must be within 20 feet + 5 feet per two monk levels (rounding down). Foes who are subject to Goading Ki suffer a -2 penalty to all attack rolls, all saving throws, and all concentration checks, except those made against the monk (or any effect caused by the monk). As soon as the targeted foe successfully strikes the Monk with a melee or ranged attack, the ki infused into their bodies is grounded out, and the penalties immediately end. If the foe never strikes the monk, the penalties persist until the end of the encounter. Missed attacks do not ground the ki and end the condition, only a successful hit will end the condition.
Special: A monk can apply Goading Ki to the same target over multiple rounds (but never more than once per round, even with the use of action points), which causes the penalties to stack with themselves. However, all of the penalties are immediately wiped out if the goaded creature successfully strikes the monk.
