Description
- This poultice smells of delicate florals and mint, and the scented balm coats your hands when the holder uses the effect upon themself. You cup your hands before your face and blow through them, and create the sound of a large hunting horn, blowing up to three notes as loud and clear as a peal of thunder, or a Celestial note. These notes can be heard up to five miles away in clear, open terrain such as open water or plains, up to three miles away in typical mountain or hilly terrain, up to two miles away in typical wooded outdoor conditions, one mile away in battlefield conditions, or a few hundred yards away in a dungeon. You can make these sounds at any point during the spell's duration as a free action, and each sounding can be short or long, high-pitched or low-pitched, and steady or staccato, allowing you to send hundreds of simple coded messages.
- For example, you may define short, short, long as 'encounter', long, long, long as 'all clear here', and 'short, short, short' as 'emergency, flee and summon help'. The exact uses of this spell are left to players to define.
