Illustrious (Armor Magic Property)
Illustrious (Armor Magic Property)
You must be level 21 or higher to equip, wield or wear an item with this property.
Armor with the Illustrious property shines brightly when worn, providing bright light in a radius of 60 feet, and dim light out an additional 60 feet, to 120 feet. This radiance can be suppressed down to as little as 10 feet of bright light (and 10 more feet of dim light), or turned completely off, with a swift action. Designs usually feature bright colors and a brilliant sheen even when not illuminated.
Up to five times per day, the wearer can command the armor (as a swift action) to reveal any concealed or invisible creatures within a 20-foot radius, and prevent them from becoming invisible or concealed until the end of the current encounter.
Lastly, up to three times per day, as a swift action, the wearer can increase the intensity of the light, granting themselves a 20-foot (4 square) aura attack, inflicting (Order 8 damage): 1d6+7 points of damage per character level (max 20d6+140 at character level 20) of light (energy, uncommon) damage to all creatures who begin their turn within or enter the aura. This aura persists until dismissed (as a seperate swift action) or the end of the encounter.
