Near and Far (Feat)
You effortlessly pair melee and ranged weaponry.
Prerequisites: Level 16, Weapon Focus, Snap Shot, Two-Weapon Fighting
Related: Opening Volley (Feat)
Benefit: When you use the Two-Weapon Fighting feat while wielding a melee weapon and a one-handed ranged weapon you chose with your Weapon Focus feat (such as a hand crossbow or a skiprock), your attacks with the ranged weapon provoke no attacks of opportunity from foes that you threaten with your melee weapon.
Special: If you also have the Close-Quarters Thrower (Feat) and/or the Point-Blank Master (Feat), you may attack with any ranged weapon in both hands, using Two-Weapon Fighting, and you do not provoke. This can apply to projectile weapons (fighting in melee with a pair of Hand Crossbows) or thrown weapons (fighting in melee by throwing a pair of Chakrams, or Throwing Glaives(!)).
Normal: Making a ranged attack provokes attacks of opportunity.
