thoughts on mechanics
a common set of powers, designed to be fairly flexible/adaptable use old 4e bloodline as model/template/examples
define a few 'pre-made' ways to integrate these into the world
possible auramancy systems:
void bubbles : magical devices that are 'holes' in the background mana of the world, into which you can place a part of your aura. emptying the bubble causes an effect
shouts : eerie magical effects created by YELLING...REAL...LOUD
blood sports : characters who have weird, eerie abilities because their germ plasm was more refined, or tainted, or maybe both
bloodline powers : you can be 'born better' direct (as possible) port of the old bloodline system
psionics : some people have eerie powers...of the mind!
alchemical addictions: you gain powers if you take various elixirs...or if you fail to take your medicines....
roles : the world is a stage, and some people get to change their lines a little
limit break! : some people gain the ability to break through their own limitiations
plus, many more besides!
