- summon an Aspect of a demi-god in service to your own god until the end of the encounter
- single use consumable -- given as a favor for some significant divine service
- requires charging, by feeding it three action points (or more; probably have to be action points from someone in service to this god).
- for extra cruelty, it would also require a prayer while giving up the action point, as a standard action, and can only be done during combat (especially good if this is a god of war, or something similar) even if the character has some other way of
- Once charged, can be used at any time (the charge doesn't fade away).
- basically an "I win" button for the encounter in which it is used, but could also be a better means of transportation (go home quickly), escape from a bad scenario, etc.
- because it is single use, and requires a commitment of action points to activate, most players will save this for a long time before using it.
- if used in a boss encounter (monster with a role), should probably not be "I win" so much as "things get much easier". Perhaps turns off the boss' most dangerous ability, or prevents them from rezzing after being reduced to 0 hit points, etc. Since it's just an Aspect of a demi-god, and not the god itself, this is justifiable -- the Aspect is of limited power (when the story calls for them to not be overwhelmingly powerful; if it's a normal encounter, there's no reason for the Aspect not to be played up as preposterously mighty).
