Description

You implore the Green for a way forward, slowly and steadily making your need clear to the mighty fount of living might. The Green complies with your wishes, making a nearby tree into a gateway to where it believes you wish to go. At the end of your ritual, you stand, and walk forward into the Green.
This spell operates as Teleport (Sorcerer/Wizard Spell), except that the ritual can be much shorter if you desire only a short distance, and of course, you must move between two plants (typically trees) that the Green chooses. This entails one or more rolls on the 'Familiarity' table, as normal for a Teleport.
This spell requires you to be adjacent to a normal plant equal to your size or larger. You must visualize the target location, and the Green chooses a plant as close as possible, with perils based upon the Familiarity roll. If the destination is unfamiliar, or false, the distance away from your true destination can be quite large.
In addition, if you can directly see the destination plant where you wish to go (with your own senses, magical scrying is useless for this purpose), then the ritual requires only a minute to complete. This can be useful to cross large valleys, or move from a mountaintop to a far-distant tree on a plain below. The maximum distance you can move with this spell is 100 miles per hour spent casting, with the exception that transport to visible plants requires only a minute.
You can't use this spell to travel through Plant Creatures. Not only is it very rude, they are not 'normal' plants in any way.
