	An unarmed strike is always considered a light weapon. Therefore, you can use the Weapon Finesse feat with an unarmed strike. In order to perform an unarmed strike, you must have one hand free (you cannot be holding any objects, wearing a shield on that arm, etc.), though you can still be wearing gloves and bracers, including magic gloves and bracers. The damage from an unarmed strike is considered weapon damage for the purposes of effects that give you a bonus on weapon damage rolls. Unarmed Strike belongs to the "Close" and "Monk" weapon groups.
