Wand of Vastness, Journeyman
CL 25 Magic Wand • Strong Abjuration
- Cost: 1,300,000 gp
- Weight: .5 lbs.
- Family: Wand of Vastness
A Wand of Vastness is a large example of the wand family, approaching 2 feet in length and proportionately wide. It is remarkably light for its size, as the structure of the wand is akin to a honeycomb or stranded brush, rendered in ivory, gold filigree, lace, and corundum. The core of the wand is filled with pulsing light when it is used, rendering a remarkable light-show as the wielder casts their spells. Of course, that's nothing compared to the show the actual spell effect makes when THIS wand is used!
A journeyman's wand of vastness grants the wielder the ability to apply the effects of the Vast Spell (Feat) to any 1st through 7th level spell, up to once per round, without increasing the spell level of the spell.
The wielder must already possess the Vast Spell (Feat) to use this wand. Without the feat, the wand is unusable.
This magic item does not require an attunement period, and grants its benefits immediately upon being worn or wielded.
- Creation: Creator (Feat), Epic Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 60 (10 + double CL)), Intense (tier 4) remnant, An item symbolic of the enchantment, 650,000 gp (minus cost of symbolic item).
