Ability Type: Ex
Prerequisites: Advanced Talents
Benefit: Once per day, a rogue with this talent can re-roll any skill check she has just failed as a free action, interrupting any negative outcome the original failure may have triggered. Every 10 levels after 1st (e.g. at 11th, 21st, etc.), the rogue may use this talent one additional time per day. Note that Thoughtful Reexamination can only be used once on any given skill roll; a rogue cannot keep re-rolling the same test multiple times.
Special: A rogue with the "Clever Rogue" path gains a +2 training bonus any time she uses Thoughtful Reexamination to re-roll a skill check for a skill that uses Intelligence as its ability score modifier.
