Doing so requires a move action that does not provoke, and the rogue may initiate a stealth stance during this same move action. He can dismiss the invisibility effect as a free action. There is no limit to the number of times per day this ability may be used, nor does it have a limited duration, as long as the rogue does nothing to cause the invisibility to break.
