Penetrating Blow (Ex)

Requires: Barbarian 9, Feral Mien

Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you can cause your next attack to ignore an amount of your enemy's DR equal to the amount of DR you have from your barbarian class ability. Must activate this power prior to the attack roll, and if the attack misses, or fails to occur before the start of your next turn, the activation provides no benefit.

Progression:

• 11th Level: If your target has no DR capable of blocking your attacks, an attack modified by Penetrating Blow instead deals bonus damage equal to your CHA modifier. Bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.
• 21st Level: If you roll a critical hit with an attack modified with Penetrating Blow, it automatically confirms.
• 31st Level: If your target has no DR capable of blocking your attacks, an attack modified by Penetrating Blow instead deals bonus damage equal to triple your CHA modifier. Bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.
