Game 3 - Swamp Goblins - (4/14/14)
What Happened
It is 10:30 AM of the first of two days of a layover at Lonely Rest Way Station.
After gathering up the bones for loot, we hear the signs of approaching hostiles.
- 5 x Goblins
- 1 x Goblin Berserker
- 3 x Fire Beetles
- 1 x Goblin Firewalker (chains to 3 fire beatles)
While we obliterated the opponents, the Goblin Firewalker fled and as we finished off the first group, we see 5 Goblin Berserkers coming towards us.
Vellum spots a cave with a Bugbear that seems to be the Goblin's lair.
We break off and head away and back to the edge of the woods. We head back to town.
At a magic shop, we sold the skeleton bones for 1750 gp (10 plats, 750 empers). 625 empers to each PC.

- New Total: 1768 + 350 = 2118 (Level 2!)
The party examining Leslie and Bill, they seem to have some defenses beyond what is visible.
We do some purchasing for the party. While moving around the town, we notice the town is busy and bustling. There is an open space towards where the forest with the Goblins, there is a unit (80 or so) of the town guard training.
We head over to convey information about the Bugbear and the Goblins.

The talk with the Watch Captain and she initials a receipt for us on the Goblin kills (12 x Goblin / 50 each). The Watch will be doing a punitive raid in the next week. We turn in the bounty on the Goblins (each PC share is 100 gp).
It is now about 3pm.
We find a bar to celebrate our victory. We have a nice party (drinking and carousing) (costing us each about 15 gp).
About 9pm, we finish partying and head back to the ship. We stop by the Grove of Daneth (and give us nice rations / 10 days each).
We walk back to the tower to the ship (which is still there).
Sour is pissy, got stuck with the watch.
Captain Peremon wants us to load up a fresh Manastone. When he gets back, we might have to run.
He conned the auromancers into going out to Mt. Grumbly (epic level dungeon) to get some spending money.
We return Leslie to her mentor which is in the Landau in the hold. She waits until we leave.
We go to refresh the Manastone and end the day.
