Mutilation damage is caused by a combination of forces which are aimed at disfiguring or maiming the target, rather than inflicting more serious immediate harm. While it typically deals less damage than more direct forms of attack, it is often accompanied with harmful secondary effects, and it is extremely difficult to resist.
