Searing Creature is a pattern that adds a blazing heat aura to a creature. Whether they are made of burning embers, or have their blood replaced with lava, exhale gouts of flame, or have burning brands for bones, fighting a Searing Creature is unpleasant!
Searing Creatures may be natives of volcanic calderas, or dwellers in supernatural deserts. Searing creatures may hail from the Plane of Fire, or some higher, more energetic Plane such as the nigh-mythical Apocolyptica, or maybe they have evolved their heated nature in response to an Ice Age. Searing may be gifted by some Mage, or represent an alchemical potion they've poured over their heads and lit up before a battle. Maybe they are the minions of the mighty and terrible Heat Miser, and are working to blight the world by stealing all warmth, everywhere. The possibilities are nearly endless!
Regardless of their origin or mechanics, Searing Creatures are tough to battle from up close, and can give your melee players plenty of challenges to deal with!
